How it works
- Before 'n' After'd vehicles sell fast and get top price! Past customers who sold their Before 'n' After'd vehicle have told us that the vehicle sold very fast and they got top price for it. Howard Connoch of Mold in Flintshire said, in 2012: “I had my Defender 90 done in Oct 2008. I advertised it on ebay and the reserve was quickly met and surpassed – in less than 24 hours in fact! I put this down to the fact that there are people actively looking for Before 'n' After'd vehicles to buy.” (See our testimonials page) Another Customer click here for one minute video, sold his Heritage 90 very quickly. The Customer Record Page (CRP), started in May 2018 and the Past Customer Page (PCP) for customers pre that date to load their own page, will help you sell your car even faster and get an even better price if you ever need to sell it.
Find a Before 'n' After'd vehicle that you want to buy

- Customer Record Page (CRP) Welcome to the Before 'n' After database of cars rustproofed by us. A “Customer Record Page” for treated vehicles, showing 24 before and after shots of the vehicle underbody and a classification for the condition is made for each vehicle treated. No exceptions – it's mandatory - but customer details are not revealed and images of your registration plate are blurred except for the first and last letter. You can ask us not to use an image of yourself if you want. The CRP system was started in May 2018
- "View Vehicles Page" The page can be seen on our “View Vehicles Page”. That is the basic "unfiltered" page for both Customer Record Page (CRP) and Past Customer Page (PCP) Vehicles. But we can also add two useful features for you. Not only that but we give you your own admin page where you can enable or disable these features yourself at any time. You can't delete the basic CRP though. Once we have uploaded your page we will email you an alphanumeric code that you can use to login to the admin page for your own CRP. If you sell the vehicle, the new owner takes over the CRP page and its admin. This should further enhance the value of a Before 'n' After'd vehicle.
- The two features that you can enable/disable:
-
- Allow Bidding. If you enable this feature, internet users browsing the “View Vehicles Page”, who see the CRP for your vehicle and who would like to buy the vehicle can click on the “bid” button to bid for it. (If you don't enable it or you disable it subsequently, it simply does not appear). They are taken to a “bid page” for your vehicle where they can enter a figure and click submit. Their bid is then emailed to you from our server and you can choose to reply to the bidder or simply ignore it if the bid does not interest you. None of your details is revealed to the bidder.
- An offer you can't refuse You do not have to be actively looking to sell your vehicle to enable bidding. But who knows, someone might offer you a ridiculous price for it that you simply cannot refuse. For example if you are sure that the value of your vehicle is say, £8,000, and someone sends you a bid for £10,000 you might want to tear their arm off! If someone sends you a bid of £7,000 you simply ignore it. (By the way, bids and "For sale" replies are moderated by me and I can block nuisances. Also, you will be constantly updated on the real market value of your vehicle and if you do ever decide to sell, you will have an instant list of people who have already expressed an interest in buying it. (Note: you cannot have the “Bid” button and “For Sale” button both at the same time. It's one or the other.) If you sell the vehicle, the new owner takes over the CRP page and its admin. This should further enhance the value of a Before 'n' After'd vehicle.
- For Sale and price You can enable a For Sale link together with the price you are looking for. Buyers can click on the link and our server will send you an email with their email address so you can contact them directly. If you get several potential buyers, get them bidding against each other in your communications with them. Once you have sold the vehicle, simply go into your admin page and disable the For Sale and price link and it will disappear from your CRP. Give your CRP admin page details to the new owner who can use the features herself. It will enhance the value of your Before 'n' After treated car even more. (Note: you cannot have the “Bid” button and “For Sale” button both on at the same time. It's one or the other.)
